common cervical collar

        Cervical collar is an auxiliary treatment instrument for cervical spondylosis, which can play a role in braking and protecting the cervical spine, reducing nerve wear, reducing traumatic reactions of intervertebral joints, and is conducive to the resolution and consolidation of tissue edema and prevent recurrence.

       Cervical collar can be used for various types of cervical spondylosis, especially for patients with acute onset of cervical disc herniation, sympathetic nerve type and vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis.

There are three common cervical collars:

       1.Soft cervical collar

The soft neck support is made of felt or similar material.

       2. Inflatable cervical collar

The inflatable neck brace is made of soft plastic and is worn on the neck when inflated. The other is made of rubber, like a spring, which is worn on the neck when inflated. This kind of neck support is more practical, because the size and contour of the neck of any two people are different. Unless you make a specific neck support according to each person's situation, you can't fix the neck in the ideal posture and achieve the expected result.       3.Hard cervical collar

The hard cervical collar  is made of hard plastic, some have metal supports or adjusters, which have greater fixing and limiting effect. As shown, it is mainly used for acute and severe injuries of the neck, such as fixation and dislocation of cervical fractures.
